Rahate and the MD, JBVNL, Shri Ameet Kumar signed the first MOU with the State of Jharkhand on “UDAY” (Ujwal Discom Assurance Yojana) for operational & financial turnaround of Discoms, in the presence of the Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Shri Raghubar Das, in New Delhi yesterday. The Secretary, Ministry of Power, Shri P.K. Pujari, the Secretary, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Shri Upendra Tripathy, the Secretary (Coal), Shri Anil Swarup and the Chief Secretary Jharkhand Shri Rajiv Gauba are also seen.
