PM Modi dedicates New Parliament House to the Nation

Today, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated and dedicated the new Parliament House to the nation. The Prime Minister installed the Sengol with Nandi at the top of the building, performed rituals, and addressed the gathering. He described the new Parliament House as a reflection of the aspirations of 1.4 billion Indians, emphasizing that it represents India’s resolution to the world. The Prime Minister highlighted the coexistence of ancient and modern elements in the building and expressed India’s determination to achieve new goals and pave new paths. He underlined the significance of democracy in India’s culture and tradition, drawing references from historical and cultural examples. The Prime Minister stressed the importance of the new Parliament House in India’s development and emphasized its role in fulfilling the aspirations of the nation. He commended the contributions of the workers involved in its construction and highlighted the advanced technology and facilities incorporated in the new building. The Prime Minister reiterated the commitment to the welfare of the poor and marginalized, and the goal of making India a developed nation in the next 25 years. He concluded by expressing confidence that the new Parliament House will serve as the foundation for a prosperous, strong, and developed India.

Speaker of Lok Sabha, Shri Om Birla, and Deputy Speaker of Rajya Sabha, Shri Harivansh Narayan Singh were present on the occasion among others.
