PM Addresses National Rozgar Mela, distributes more than 51,000 appointment letters

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, addressed the National Rozgar Mela through video conferencing, distributing over 51,000 appointment letters to newly recruited individuals. The recruits, selected from across the country, will serve in various government departments and organizations, including Ministries like Railways, Home Affairs, and Health, among others. The Rozgar Mela event connected 37 locations across the nation.

PM Modi emphasized the government’s commitment to youth employment, highlighting streamlined processes and reduced recruitment times. Competitive exams are now conducted in 13 regional languages. The Prime Minister spoke about India’s rapid development, creating new opportunities across various sectors. Traditional industries are being strengthened, and new areas like renewable energy, space, and automation are being promoted.

The resurgence of Khadi has contributed significantly to job creation, particularly for women. Initiatives like the National Education Policy, medical colleges, IITs, IIMs, and IIITs aim to equip the youth with skills and education. The PM Vishwakarma Yojana connects Vishwakarmas with modern technology. PM Modi underscored the recruits’ role in nation-building and encouraged continued learning and the use of the iGOT Karmayogi portal.
