Indian Bureaucracy, New Delhi, May 20, 2025 | The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended Shri RVN Vishweshwar for the position of Director (Finance) at Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL), a Schedule A public sector undertaking. The recommendation was made following an interview session held on Saturday, May 17, 2025.
Shri RVN Vishweshwar, currently serving as Executive Director (Corporate Finance & Treasury) at Indian Oil Corporation Limited, was selected from a list of nine candidates.
The interview process included executives from various public sector enterprises. The other candidates interviewed for the vital financial leadership role were:

- Shri Satyesh Kumar Chaudhary, Deputy General Manager, NMDC Limited

- Shri Ashish Kumar Purwar, Chief General Manager (Mktg.-F&A), GAIL (India) Limited
- Shri Prajesh Chandra Mishra, Chief General Manager (F&A) RDCIS and I/c F&A SAIL Ranchi Units, Steel Authority Of India Limited (SAIL)
- Shri Nrusingha Behera, Chief General Manager, Odisha Mining Corporation Ltd.
- Shri Hemant Kumar Shah, Chief Financial Officer, DNH Power Distribution Corporation Limited.
Shri RVN Vishweshwar’s recommendation now awaits necessary approvals from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).
