An alumnus of Delhi College of Engineering, Delhi University, Shri Sensharma holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with First Division. Over his illustrious career spanning nearly three decades, he has served in several key administrative positions both in the Government of Uttar Pradesh and at the Centre. His tenure includes critical assignments as Secretary to the Chief Minister, Secretary (Energy), Commissioner (Rural Development), and Principal Secretary (Health & Family Welfare). He has also contributed at the national level as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers and Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Culture.
As Principal Secretary, Basic and Secondary Education, Shri Sensharma has been instrumental in implementing policy reforms under the National Education Policy (NEP), modernizing classrooms, and strengthening foundational learning through digital and community-driven initiatives.
