NTPC Ltd.’s Power Management Institute (NTPC-PMI) and Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd. (GIPCL) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for two years for continuous learning and training for enhancement of competencies and skills of the employees of GIPCL.
The MoU was signed in Vadodara on Monday, 8th August, 2016 by Shri Ajit K. Bhatnagar, Executive Director (PMI), NTPC Ltd. and Shri Sandeep H.Purohit, Head of HR & Admin., GIPCL, in the presence of Smt.Sonal Mishra, IAS, Managing Director, GIPCL and senior officials from GIPCL and NTPC.
The objective of the MoU is to provide an assured framework for cooperation between both the organizations. PMI, which has acknowledged expertise in the field of training and development, will conduct a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and prepare a training plan for all executives of GIPCL to cater to their learning and skills customization and enhancement. GIPCL executives will be imparted training by PMI on various technical and managerial aspects in the field of energy.
