In an Indian Bureaucracy PSU news update, NTPC  has been bestowed with India Pride Award 2016 -17  for best performance in the Power Sector.  Shri Manoj Sinha,  Union  Minister of State for Railways and Minister of State (IC) for Communications presented the award to Shri A. K. Bhatnagar , Executive Director , PMI at New Delhi.
