Shri Rakesh Kumar, CMD,NLCIL, the Chief Guest inaugurated the two day Seminar on “IT Enablement for Transparent Working ” organized by NLC India Limited in Commemorating Vigilance Awareness Week 2018 this morning, 05.10.2018, at Learning & Development Centre, Neyveli .
Shri Rakesh Kumar, the Chief Guest in his Inaugural address informed that, over the last decade, ICT tools and techniques have evolved from just being a support function to essential tools for decision-making process. As a result of this, the use of ICT in businesses and organizations’ has emerged as a prerequisite for the effective management for transparent work culture.
NLCIL is organising this seminar to make everyone to understand various best practices in Information and Communication Technologies which are adopted and practiced by various organizations through deliberations of distinguished IT experts. Also to take a call on the practices adopted by NLCIL which need to be enhanced or introduction of suitable technologies and practices in line with organizational environment to leverage more transparency with speed and accuracy in day to day works.
Shri T. Venkatasubramanian, CVO, NLCIL in his introductory speech on seminar theme informed that, Information and Technology plays a crucial and dominant role in contemporary organizational structure. It serves as the glue between management as well as facilitates other processes, departments and organizations. This type of plat forms helps practitioners to work together to build an integrated, coordinated and transparent methods to reach organizational goals.
