In line with the Corporate Social Responsibility philosophy, NLC India Limited CSR officials along with Neyveli Ladies Club patrons and members visited HIV+ve Society, Puthupalayam, Cuddalore & Oasis Trust, School for Handicapped, Vanarapalayam, and Cuddalore on, 07.01.2017.
Shri Yogamaya Acharya, President Ladies Club& Sneha Opportunity School of Neyveli, Smt. Kanchan Rakesh Kumar, Smt. Shanthi Selvakumar, Patrons Neyveli Ladies Club and S.Sridhar, Executive Director/PR,CSR,TA&Edn., Shri J. Peter James GM/CSR visits HIV+ve Society, Puthupalayam, Cuddalore and distributed the Poshak food packets, a specially prepared nutritious food items to HIV affected children, which contains cereals. Moreover Chana , Dates Snacks,Soaps and Uniforms were distributed for 225 HIV+ve affected people and sarees and Lungis were provided to their parents.
NLC India Limited every month providing Rs 1.25 lakhs worth Poshak food packets for HIV+ve Society ,Puthupalayam ,Cuddalore under its CSR programme and also to the 75 HIV +ve children of Vridhachalam.
Also the team visited Oasis Trust School for the Handicapped, Vanarapalayam, Cuddalore run by the Oasis Trust and provided a special lunch for 75 children and 50 differently abled persons. Smt Yoagamya Acharya as a special gesture presented 120 no’s Steel plates and Tumblers and two 25 Liters Drinking water Cans to the Trust.
Earlier, at HIV+ve Society, Puthupalayam coordinator of Buds of Heaven, a Special Children Home, Puducherry, approached NLCIL officials for help to their home. The materials like Towels, Snacks and Soaps also were provided to them
