Shri Nikhil Pandey IRSEE (1986) presently Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), North Eastern Railway, Izzatnagar has been appointment as Senior Deputy General Manager (SDGM) and Chief Vigilance Officer, North Eastern Railway, Gorakhpur.
Shri Pandey orginallly hails from Lucknow. He has obtained the Bachlors degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Roorkee (presently I.I.T., Roorkee) and Master of Science (MS) Degree in Electrical Engineering from Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden. After qualifying Engineering Services Examination of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in the year 1986 he joined Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers () on March 15, 1988. Mr. Pandey has worked in various capacities in Central Railway, Northern Railway and Railway Board. He also has the experience of having worked as Director in the Ministry for Development of North Eastern Region (DONER), Government of India.
