Ms. Neha Giri IAS (Rajasthan 2010) has been appointed as Director in the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Delhi under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years.
Ms. Neha Giri, IAS, stands out as a distinguished civil servant whose career reflects a compelling blend of technical proficiency, policy depth, and extensive administrative experience across diverse sectors. With a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from Uttar Pradesh Technical University (B.B.D.N.I.T.M.), she began her professional journey equipped with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Over time, she has augmented her academic credentials with a Master’s degree in Development from IGNOU, securing a First Division with Distinction, underscoring her keen interest in inclusive growth and socio-economic policy.

She has successfully completed online certification courses in Renewable Energy from London and Energy Policy from the USA, aligning her expertise with emerging global priorities in sustainable development. Currently serving as State Mission Director, National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), Jaipur, since June 2025, Ms. Giri is leading one of the flagship rural development initiatives aimed at poverty alleviation and women’s empowerment. Her earlier assignments include Joint Secretary in the Tribal Area Development Department, where she contributed to policies aimed at socio-economic upliftment of tribal communities, and Registrar at National Law University, Jodhpur, where she was involved in institutional governance and legal education administration. She has also held key positions in finance and taxation, including roles in Commercial Taxes and as Executive Director in Jaipur, reflecting her versatility across domains.
