The number of enrolment under the National Pension Scheme for Traders, small shopkeepers and self-employment persons during the last two years is as under;

Government is intended to target 3 crore beneficiaries by 2023-24 under the National Pension Scheme for Traders, small shopkeepers and self-employed persons. The Government is mobilizing eligible beneficiaries through State Government machinery and CSC-VLEs in order to achieve the target. Besides this, Government has also launched extensive social media campaign to mobilise the targeted beneficiaries. The scheme is voluntary.
