Shri Munish Sharma IAS (Haryana 2014) presently Secretary- Haryana Board of School Education, Bhiwani has been given the additional charge as Deputy Commissioner- Bhiwani for 3 days from 23.02.2026 to 25.02.2026 during the training period of Shri Sahil Gupta IAS (Haryana 2017).
Shri Munish Sharma, an accomplished officer of the Indian Administrative Service, combines academic excellence with grounded administrative experience. A graduate in Bio-Chemistry from Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi, where he secured First Division, he further strengthened his managerial acumen with a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Lal Bahadur Shastri Mahavidyalaya, also with First Division. His academic foundation reflects analytical depth and a structured approach to governance.
Since joining the service, Shri Sharma has steadily built a reputation for effective field administration. After completing his foundational training at LBSNAA, Mussoorie, he began his career as Assistant Commissioner (UT) in Karnal, gaining hands-on exposure to sub-divisional administration. He later served as Assistant Secretary in the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers at the Centre, broadening his understanding of policy frameworks.
In Haryana, he held key assignments as SDO in Land Development and District Administration, where he was closely associated with land revenue management and grassroots governance. Currently serving as Additional Commissioner, he continues to oversee critical functions in Land Revenue Management and District Administration.
