PIB News Update: Online registration is now open for girl children for admissions to Class VI in five Sainik schools for the academic session 2020-21. The schools are in Chandrapur (Maharashtra), Bijapur (Karnataka), Kodagu (Karnataka), Kalikiri (Andhra Pradesh) and Ghorakhal (Uttarakhand).
The online application form is available at www.sainikschooladmission.in. Model question papers are also available on the website. The last date of registration is December 06, 2019. The examination will be held on January 05, 2020.
Details of the admission procedure are as follows:

It may be recalled that Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh, in October 2019, had approved the proposal for admission of girl children in Sainik schools w.e.f. academic session 2021-22 in a phased manner. This decision is being implemented from the academic session 2020-21 in the above mentioned five schools.
