PIB News Update: The Army recruitment rally under Unit Headquarters Quota will be held at AOC Centre, Secunderabad from 02 Dec 2019 to 19 Jan 2020 for enrolment of Soldier Clerk /SKT, Soldier General Duty, Soldier Tradesmen, Outstanding Sportsmen (Open Category) & Musician (Open Category).
Outstanding Sportsmen (Open Category) are required to report at Thappar Stadium, AOC Centre Secunderabad at 0800Hrs on 29 Nov 2019 for sports trial. Outstanding sportsmen who have represented in any of the following in the field of Boxing, Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Handball, Hockey, Swimming, Wrestling, Athletics and Kabbadi can participate along with their certificates of having represented the state or the Country in National of international competitions either at senior or junior level.
Note : The certificate should not be more than two years old on the date of screening.
Musician (Military Band only) – (Open Category) should report on 02 Dec 2019 at 0600 hrs at Thappar Stadium, AOC Centre.
Age Criteria-
(a) Sportsmen – Age limit 17 ½ to 21 Yrs.
Educational Qualification. Matriculation/SSC with 33% in each subject & 45% aggregate (Candidates having Cert of State Edn Bdn Bds incl CBSE, who have adopted Grading Sys must have a min of D grade ( 33-40) in each individual subject and overall aggregate of C2 grade or 4.75 pt)
(b) Musician (Military Band only) – Age limit 17 ½ to 23 Yrs.
