Distinguished leaders, including Union Ministers, government officials, and experts, will participate in this event, discussing experiences, insights, and best practices in social audit processes. Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act empowers Gram Sabha to conduct regular social audits of rural development projects, promoting transparency and accountability in government schemes. The seminar aims to review the implementation status of social audits and formulate a roadmap for their enhancement across states and union territories.
