Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Shri Nitin Gadkari has informed that There are 60 major national highways projects which are on the verge of completion and are targeted for completion during the next 100 days. To expedite completion of these projects various steps have been taken which include streamlining of land acquisition & environment clearances, premium re-scheduling, close coordination with other Ministries, revamping of dispute resolution mechanism, regular meetings with project developers, contractors & State Governments etc.
