The Ministry of Finance has announced that the outstanding balance of the ‘8.30% FERT CO GOI SPLBOND 2023’ will be repaid at par on December 07, 2023. No further interest will accrue after this date.
In the event of a holiday declared on the repayment day by any State Government, repayment will take place on the preceding working day. According to Government Securities Regulations, 2007, maturity proceeds will be paid through a pay order or electronic means, requiring holders to submit relevant bank account details in advance.
For those lacking bank account particulars, securities can be submitted 20 days before the due date at designated offices, including Public Debt Offices and branches of the State Bank of India where they are registered for interest payments.
