After joining the IAS in 2014, she underwent foundational training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie. Her administrative career has included key roles at both field and divisional levels. She served as Additional Divisional Commissioner, Meerut, where she handled land revenue and development administration across multiple districts, followed by her appointment as District Magistrate, Hapur, prior to her tenure in Kasganj.
Throughout her service, Smt. Rupam has demonstrated strong leadership in areas such as land revenue management, infrastructure development, law and order, and implementation of central and state welfare schemes.
