PIB News Update: Dr Jitendra Singh has informed that the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER) provides funds to the State of Assam under special development packages for Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), Dima Hasao Autonomous Territorial Council (DHATC) and Karbi Anglong Autonomous Territorial Council (KAATC). Under BTC package of Rs.750.00 crore, 65 projects costing Rs.749.64 crore have been sanctioned against which, amount of Rs.711.19 crore has been released. Under KAATC package of Rs.350.00 crore, 20 projects costing Rs.187.28 crore have been sanctioned and Rs.95.71 crore has been released. Under special development package of Rs.200.00 crore for DHATC, 10 projects costing Rs.121.39 crore have been sanctioned and Rs.73.80 crore has been released.
