Shri Manoranjan Ghosh WBPS, presently Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl. SP), Traffic, Paschim Medinipur, is transferred and appointed as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Addl. DCP) – Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Addl. DCP) in the Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate holds a key supervisory and administrative position within the urban policing framework of Bidhannagar and its adjoining areas. Functioning under the overall leadership of the Commissioner of Police, the Addl. DCP assists in maintaining law and order, crime control, traffic regulation, and public safety across designated divisions or specialized units.

With an emphasis on community policing, technological integration, and transparent governance, the Addl. DCP ensures efficient service delivery, strengthens public trust, and upholds professional policing standards within the Commissionerate’s jurisdiction.
