Indian Bureaucracy News, Bhopal, September 03, 2025| The Madhya Pradesh government has promoted two senior IAS officers of the 1994 batch — Deepali Rastogi and Sheo Shekhar Shukla — to the Chief Secretary pay scale (Level-17). The officers will continue in-situ.
Smt Deepali Rastogi IAS (Madhya Pradesh 1994), presently Principal Secretary, Panchayat & Rural Development Department, and Development Commissioner, Madhya Pradesh, is promoted as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) in the pay scale of Pay-Matrix-17.
Shri Sheo Shekhar Shukla IAS (Madhya Pradesh 1994), presently Principal Secretary, Culture & Tourism Department, with additional charge of Commissioner-cum-Director, Swaraj Sansthan and Trustee, Secretary, Bharat Bhawan, Managing Director, MP Tourism Development Board, and, ACS, Religious Trusts & Endowments Department, Madhya Pradesh, is promoted as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) in the pay scale of Pay-Matrix-17.
Consequent upon the upgradation of the pay scale, the posts held by the officers stand classified as non-cadre posts, and the government has accordingly designated the equivalent cadre post of President, Board of Revenue of Madhya Pradesh to maintain alignment with service rules.
