SAIL’s Salem Steel Plant (SSP) is supplying 20,000 sets of stainless steel plates and tumblers made of Salem Stainless to the flood stricken Kerala as part of relief material. The first lot of 5,000 sets was flagged off from Salem Steel Plant by Shri A Chidambaram, General Manager (Works) of the plant, on August 29.
The supplies are on the behest of the Ministry of Steel from the Central Public Sector Units SAIL, NMDC, RINL, MOIL and MSTC.
