Dr. Kartik V Hegadekatti IRTS (2012) presently Under Secretary, Department of Personnel & Training , has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of  Personnel & Training (DoPT) under the Central Staffing Scheme with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post and for a period up to 18.07.2022.
