Shri Kailash Chand Samaria IAS (Assam Meghalaya 1993) presently on reversion from Central deputation, has been appointed as Principal Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Home and Political Departments and Principal Resident Commissioner, Assam Bhawan, New Delhi with Head Quarter at New Delhi as additional charge w.e.f. 16-05-2019 i.e. the date of reporting to the State Govt.
