Shri K. Alagesan presently Director- Production & Human Resource of ITI Limited, has been assumed additional charge as Chairman & Managing Director of the company on 31st May, 2018 following the retirement of Shri S. Gopu on order of Ministry of Communications, Department of Telecommunications.
Shri K Alagesan holds a B.E. degree in Production Engineering from National Institute of Technology (earlier known as REC), Tiruchirapalli. He holds an Advanced Diploma in Management and Diploma in Human Resource Management from IGNOU. He joined ITI in January 1982 as Assistant Executive Engineer.
Shri K Alagesan has played a vital role in the implementation of revival plan of the company under which he introduced many new projects like GPON Technology, Optical Fibre, HDPE Duct, 3-D Printing Service, Ruggedized MUX, Radio Modem, Smart Energy Meters etc. He has been leading various defence projects of national importance such as Army Static Communication Network (ASCON), Defence Communication Network (DCN), Network for Spectrum (NFS) and supply of various encryption equipment.
Shri K Alagesan has over 35 years of rich experience in ITI Limited where he has climbed the professional ladder with utmost sense of responsibility, ethics and dedication.
