Hon’ble Mr. Justice Parthivjyoti Saikia presently Additional Judge – Gauhati High Court has been appointed as Judge – Gauhati High Court by the President, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, is pleased to appoint the following w.e.f. the date of assumption of the respective office.
He was born on 18.04.1965. He had completed his school at Guwahati and thereafter completed his education at Nagaon. He has joined Assam Judicial Service in the year 1992. Worked as District and Sessions Judge since September, 2011, in between, he had also held the position of Member Secretary, Assam State Legal Service Authority. Elevated as Additional Judge of the Gauhati High Court on 26.11.2019. At the time of elevation, he was working as District and Sessions Judge, Tinsukia. Became permanent Judge w.e.f. 13.10.2021.
