Ms. Justice Moksha Ithajuria Kazmi presently Additional Judge of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has been appointed as Judge of High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh .
Justice Moksha Khajuria Kazmi, passed out LL.B from Jammu University in the year 1996 and started practicing in the J&K High Court at Jammu. She was awarded the ‘Best Advocate of the year’ Award in 1998 by Kashmir Law Journal. She moved to practice in the J&K High Court at Srinagar in 1999 and was the standing counsel for various organizations like Medical Council of India, J&K Sports Council, J&K Power Development Department, ASCOMS, J&K State Legal Services Authority, J&K State Forest Corporation Ltd., Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPE), Metlife India Insurance Company Limited, Islamic University of Science and Technology, etc.
She served as Government Advocate from 2002 to 2004 and as Addl Advocate General from 2016 to 2017. She was in the Board of Directors of J&K State Financial Corporation, Board member of Baramulla Central Cooperative Bank and Board member of J&K State cooperative bank. She was designated as Senior Advocate on 3rd of December, 2020.
