Justice Mohammed Ghouse Shukure Kamal presently Additional Judge – High Court of Karnataka has been appointed as Judge- High Court of Karnataka vide Notification no. K.13023/02/2022-US.II dated 23.09.2022, in exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 217 of the Constitution of India.
Born on 30th June, 1971 at Kodlipet, Kodagu District. Did his Primary & Secondary education both at Kodlipete and Suntikoppa of Kodagu District. Completed his PUC at Govt. Senior College, Madikeri and did his BAL.,LL.B. at Vidyavardhaka Law College, Mysuru. He was enrolled as an Advocate with the Karnataka State Bar Council on 05.08.1994. He appeared before the High Court of Karnataka, City Civil and Sessions Court, Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Courts, Debt Recovery Tribunals at Bengaluru, mainly in Civil, Criminal, Constitutional, Labour, Arbitration, Revenue and Wakf matters.
Shri Kamal was appointed as Additional Judge of the High Court of Karnataka and taken oath on 17.03.2021.
