Former Chief Justice of the Patna High Court Shri L Narasimha Reddy has been appointed as Chancellor of the University of Hyderabad by President Ram Nath Kovind. Justice Reddy, who retired as the Chief Justice of the Patna High Court in July 2015, succeeds C Rangarajan, a release from the varsity said.
The president in his capacity as Visitor of the University appointed Justice Reddy as Chancellor of UoH for a period of three years.Justice Reddy, who is also the Chairman of the Central Administrative Tribunal, served as a Judge of the Andhra Pradesh High Court, between 2001 and 2015.
