Smt Justice C S Sudha presently Additional Judge, Kerala High Court has been appointed as a Judge- Kerala High Court, by the President of India, after consultation with Chief Justice of India, vide notifications dated 02.09.2023.
Born on 09/10/1964 in Thiruvananthapuram. Educated at Kendriya Vidyalaya School, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram. Obtained BA Economics from Mar Ivanios College, Thiruvananthapuram and LLB from Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram. Enrolled as Advocate on 08/01/1989 and commenced practice at District Court, Thiruvananthapuram.
Entered Judicial service in the year 1995, after having secured 1st rank in the selection process. Served in various capacities as Munsiff-Magistrate and Sub Judge/Asst.Sessions Judge.
Served as Registrar, Cyber Appellate Tribunal, N’ Delhi and thereafter as Assistant Controller of Investigation, O/o the Controller of Certifying Authority, Ministry of Communication & Information Technology, Govt. of India, N’ Delhi, during 2010-2011.
Promoted as District & Sessions Judge in 2012 and officiated as Addl.District & Sessions Judge in Kollam. In 2013, proceeded on deputation as Registrar- Competition Appellate Tribunal, N’ Delhi and was appointed as Registrar, National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, N’ Delhi in 2017. On repatriation, served as Spl. Judge, PoCSO, Palakkad and thereafter as Additional Director, Kerala Judicial Academy. Appointed as District & Sessions Judge/STAT, Ernakulam and assumed office as such on 24.05.2021.
Sworn in as Additional Judge of the High Court of Kerala on 20.10. 2021.
