Shri Jawahar Lal IRSME (1999), presently on central deputation and posted as General Manager (Mechanical), Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL), is appointed as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) – Minerals & Metals Trading Corporation Ltd. (MMTC), Delhi. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved his posting under the Department of Commerce with pay at Level 14 of the pay matrix (₹1,44,200–2,18,200), for a tenure extending up to 13 February 2028.
MMTC, established in 1963, is among India’s largest international trading companies and a key public sector enterprise under the Department of Commerce. Once central to India’s bullion imports, it has since diversified into minerals, metals, fertilizers, agro products, coal, and hydrocarbons.
