IRCTC announces four tour packages in special tourist train

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced the launch of four special train packages in special trains which will take travellers to a mix of popular pilgrimages and tourist destinations at affordable rates during June -July. The first tour package will be for Uttar Darshan yatra i.e North India for a nine day tour from 09-06-2017 to 17-06-2017,which will take passengers to Haridwar, Rishikesh & Vaishno Devi, whose travel expenses are Rs. 8,830/- per person. Passengers can start their tours from Jabalpur or Itarsi or Habibganj stations.

The next tour is the Dakshin Darshan Yatra [South India Tour] which is an eleven day tour starting from 20-06-2017 to 30-06-2017. The tour shall cover visits to Kanyakumari, Madurai, Rameshvaram, Tirupati & Trivandrum, whose travel expenses are Rs. 10,795/- per person. Passengers will be able to commence their tours from Indore,Dewas,Ujjain,Sehore, Habibganj,Itarsi or Nagpur stations.

The Third tour, Dakshin Darshan Yatra [South India Tour], an 11 day tour starting from 03-07-2017 to 13-07-2017 and shall cover Kanyakumari, Madurai, Rameshvaram, Tirupati & Trivandrum in South India. Passengers can board this train at Satna, Katni, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Itarsi, Betul or Nagpur stations. The travel expenses are Rs. 10,795/- per person

The final tour package is the Gangasagar-Puri Yatra which will be held from 15-07-2017 to 23-07-2017, a 9 day tour which will take passengers to visit the holy places of Gangasagar, Gaya, Puri & Varanasi, at a cost of Rs. 8,830/- per person All packages include, confirmed train tickets, sightseeing at various places of Interest and tourist sites, accommodation in Dharamshala & Dormitories, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and excursion by Non-AC buses. According to the Central Government order these tour packages are valid for LTC for the employees of central, state government and various government undertakings.
