Indian Bureaucracy, Chandigarh, February 08, 2025| Haryana Government announced the promotion and transfer of eleven IPS officers through a notification dated February 4, 2025. Notably, Simardeep Singh, from the 2007 batch, has been appointed as the Inspector General of Police for the Haryana Special Task Force and Prisons. Meanwhile, Ms Naazneen Bhasin has been transferred from her position as Joint Commissioner of Police in Gurgaon to take over as Commissioner of Police in Sonipat. Additionally, six officers have been promoted to the rank of Additional Superintendent of Police. The detailed list of promoted officers, along with their new roles and postings, is provided below.

  1. Shri Pankaj Nain IPS (Haryana 2007), presently, Special Officer (Community Policing and Outreach), Chief Minister’s Office, with additional charge of Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Anti Corruption Bureau, Haryana, and DIG, Security, CID, Haryana, is promoted and transferred as, Special Officer – Community Policing and Outreach, Chief Minister’s Office with additional charge of IGP – Security, CID, Haryana.
  2. Shri Simardeep Singh IPS (Haryana 2007), presently Deputy Inspector General (DIG), STF, Haryana, Bhondsi, with additional charge of DIG, Prisons, Haryana, and DIG, HSNCB, Haryana, is promoted and transferred as, IGP – STF, Haryana, Bhondsi, with additional charge of IGP – Prisons, Haryana.
  3. Ms Naazneen Bhasin IPS (Haryana 2007), presently Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Regional Training Centre, Bhondsi, with additional charge of Joint Commissioner of Police, Gurugram, is promoted and transferred as, Commissioner of Police – Sonipat, with additional charge of Inspector General – Regional Training Centre, Bhondsi, relieving Shri K K Rao IPS of the additional charge of Commissioner of Police, Sonipat.
  4. Shri Kuldeep Singh IPS (Haryana 2007), presently awaiting posting at Police Headquarters, is promoted and appointed as, Inspector General of Police (IG) – Karnal Range, Karnal, Haryana, relieving Shri Sibash Kabiraj IPS of the additional charge of IG, Karnal Range.
  5. Shri Shiv Charan IPS (Haryana 2007), presently Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Police Training Centre, Sunaria, is promoted and transferred as, Inspector General of Police (IG) – Police Training Centre, Sunaria, Rohtak, Haryana.
  6. Dr Rajesh Mohan IPS (Haryana 2021), presently Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Hisar, is promoted and transferred as, Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl SP) – Nuh, Haryana.
  7. Ms Srishti Gupta IPS (Haryana 2021), presently Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Ambala, is promoted and transferred as Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl SP) – Yamunanagar, Haryana.
  8. Shri Shubham Singh IPS (Haryana 2021), presently Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Badli, Jhajjar, is promoted and transferred as Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl SP) – Palwal, Haryana.
  9. Shri Prateek Gahlot IPS (Haryana 2021), presently awaiting posting at Police Headquarters, is promoted and appointed as Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl SP) – Hisar, Haryana.
  10. Shri Manpreet Singh Sudan IPS (Haryana 2021), presently Assistant Commissioner of Police, Panchkula, is promoted as, Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl SP) – Kurukshetra, Haryana.
  11. Ms Sonakshi Singh IPS (Haryana 2021), presently Assistant Commissioner of Police, Panchkula, is promoted and transferred as Additional Superintendent of Police, Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl SP) – Jind, Haryana.
