In Gujarat, the third International Yoga Day is being celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm. BJP Chief Amit Shah joined Yoga Guru Ramdev at the International Yoga Day Event at GMDC Ground in Ahmedabad.
The mega yoga event was held at five grounds including GMDC and AES where large number of people participated and performed Yoga. On the occasion, two Guinness book of world records were created- one for the highest number of people performing pranayam, yoga, and meditation at one location at a given time. While the other for the highest number of people performing similar yoga moves at multiple locations.
Speaking on the occasion, BJP Chief Amit said that it was PM Narendra Modi who pressed the demand of Yogacharis from across the world in UN, for celebrating International Yoga Day.
Today, the number of Yoga followers is rising highly not only in India but across the world. He hoped that people across the world will lead healthy and happy life through Yoga. Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani also participated in a Yoga event in Ahmedabad. Number of senior politicians, bureaucrats also took part in the event.
