Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony of CRC-Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, graced by Dr. Virendra Kumar, Union Cabinet Minister MSJ&E, in Ward No. 17 near Model Basic School, Durga Colony, Chhatarpur, this event marks the beginning of a new chapter. The CRC-Chhatarpur will find its home in a state-of-the-art building, encompassing 41,275 sq. ft of space, meticulously designed to provide a barrier-free environment for persons with disabilities. Nestled within a 2-hectare campus, this project is a testament to inclusivity and empowerment. The estimated construction cost of 25 crores has led to a collaboration with NBCC, ensuring the completion of this remarkable facility within a year. CRC-Chhatarpur will serve as a hub for skill development, rehabilitation services, and independent living support for individuals with disabilities, fostering their growth and integration into society. Under the administration of Ali Yavar Jung National Institute of Speech and Hearing Disabilities (Divyangjan) AYJNISHD(D), Mumbai, and the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, MSJ&E, Govt. of India, CRC-Chhatarpur joins the ranks of other CRCs in Bhopal, Nagpur, and Ahmedabad, furthering the cause of disability empowerment.
