The Government of West Bengal has effected a minor but significant bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring and posting five Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers across key departments. The latest administrative changes are aimed at strengthening governance, ensuring administrative efficiency, and meeting evolving departmental requirements. The reshuffle includes new assignments in departments such as Panchayats & Rural Development, Food & Supplies, and district administration.   • Shri Dushyant Nariala IAS (West Bengal 1993) presently Principal Resident
    Commissioner, New Delhi with additional charge of Director General- NSATI & Chairman-  SNTCSSC, will also hold the charge of Chairman- West Bengal Central School Service Commission in addition to his existing charges.
  • Smt. Sarmistha Das IAS (West Bengal 2008) presently Secretary in Fisheries Department and Managing Director- BENFISH under Fisheries Department has been transferred and posted as Secretary in Home & Hill Affairs Department West Bengal.
  • Shri Ravi Agarwal IAS (West Bengal 2017) presently Commissioner- Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation, will also hold the charge of CEO, New Town Kolkata Development Authority in addition to his normal duties.
  • Ms. Subashini E IAS (West Bengal 2019) presently Joint Secretary- Office of the
    Chief Secretary (P&AR Department), Government of West Bengal has been transferred and posted as Project Director- KEIP with additional charge of Joint Municipal Commissioner- Kolkata Municipal Corporation.
  • Shri Tanmay Chakrabarty IAS (West Bengal 2006) presently Director- ESI Scheme, Labour Department has been transferred and posted as Secretary- Mass Education Extension & Library Services Department with additional charge of Secretary – School Education Department. West Bengal.
