Shri Fating Rahul Haridas IAS (Madhya Pradesh 2012) has been appointed as Private Secretary to the Minister for Panchayati Raj and Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying (Shri Rajiv Ranjan Singh) in the Ministry of Panchayati Raj (level of Director) for a period of five years .
Shri Fating Rahul Haridas, an officer of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), represents a rare and distinguished blend of administrative acumen and medical expertise. With an academic foundation that spans both economics and medicine, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Y.C.M. Open University, Nashik, and an M.B.B.S. from the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik—both secured with first-class distinction. This unique combination has enabled him to approach governance with both analytical depth and a strong understanding of public health systems.
Over the years, Shri Haridas has built a diverse and impactful career within the Madhya Pradesh cadre, marked by steady progression through key administrative roles. Beginning his journey with foundational training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, he quickly transitioned into field administration as Assistant Collector in Rewa and subsequently as Sub-Divisional Magistrate. These early assignments helped him develop a strong grounding in land revenue management and grassroots governance.
His tenure as Chief Executive Officer in Sheopur and later at the Mineral Development Board in Bhopal reflected his adaptability across sectors, ranging from Panchayati Raj to mineral resource management. As Additional Collector in Jabalpur, he further strengthened district-level governance, handling complex administrative responsibilities with diligence and balance.
In 2024, Shri Haridas took on the role of Collector, Badwani, where he was entrusted with the comprehensive responsibility of district administration. His work in this capacity underscored his ability to navigate developmental challenges while maintaining administrative efficiency. He later served as Commissioner in the Housing and Infrastructure Development Board, Bhopal, where his contributions in urban development and housing policy added a valuable dimension to his administrative portfolio.
Since January 2026, Shri Haridas has been serving concurrently as Director, Health Services, Madhya Pradesh, and Director, M.P. State AIDS Control Society, Bhopal. In these crucial roles, he brings his medical background to the forefront, contributing meaningfully to public health administration and policy implementation. His dual expertise allows him to bridge the gap between clinical understanding and administrative execution—an attribute particularly significant in the health sector.
