EIL signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for 2015-16 with the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoP&NG) on March 31, 2015. The MoU was signed by Shri Saurabh Chandra, Secretary, MoP&NG and Shri A K Purwaha, C&MD, EIL in the presence of EIL Functional Directors, Government Director on EIL Board and other senior officials of the Ministry and EIL.
The MoU targets include performance parameters related to turnover & gross operating margin, HR & R&D initiatives, a focus on integrating sustainability in corporate operations along with corporate governance and socio-economic development activities as a responsible corporate citizen.
