Indian Bureaucracy, Chandigarh, July 14, 2025| The Punjab government promoted eight (08) senior IPS officers to the rank of Director General of Police (Level-16 in the Pay Matrix), with the promotions taking effect immediately.
The officers promoted to the DGP rank are from 1994 batch of the state cadre.
