Dr Krishan Kumar Jalan, IAS (HY:1982) presently Central Provident Fund Commissioner, Employees’ Provident Fund Organization, Ministry of Labour and Employment has been appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises vice Shri Anup K Pujari, IAS (KN:1980) on his superannuation.
Shri Krishan Kumar Jalan is a B.Sc.(Hons)and has done his PG and M.PHIL in Mathematics .
Starting his Indian bureaucracy career in 1984 as SDO, he has vast experience as CEO Agriculture & Cooperation Cooperatives (1985-86), Deputy Commissioner of Bhiwani (1987-89), Additional Registrar in Agriculture & Cooperation Cooperatives (1989-91), Deputy Commissioner of Faridabad (1992-94), Joint Secretary in Ministry of Textiles (2002-04), Principle Secretary in Irrigation Department (2011-12),
He has served in Central Cadre as Central Provident Fund Commissioner in Ministry of Labour & Employment (2013-15).
