Dr. Anitha Thampi, a highly accomplished professional, joined HLL Lifecare Ltd. as Director (Technical and Operations) on January 4, 2023. With over three decades of exemplary experience in technical and managerial roles at HLL, she has made an indelible mark through her exceptional leadership and expertise. Her illustrious career includes pivotal roles such as Vice President of HLL Corporate R&D, CEO of the HLL Management Academy (the organization’s academic and social development wing), CEO of Goa Antibiotics & Pharmaceuticals Limited (a subsidiary of HLL), Head of HLL’s HR department, and Unit Chief of the Peroorkada factory. Each position reflects her unwavering commitment to innovation and operational excellence.
A distinguished academic achiever, Dr. Thampi holds a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kerala, an M.Tech in Technology and Development, and a Ph.D. in Municipal Solid Waste Management from IIT Mumbai. Dr. Thampi’s family has been a pillar of support throughout her journey. She is the daughter of the late R. Velayudhan Thampi and Seethalekshmi Amma. Her husband, Mr. Ajayakumar, serves as a senior designer at Ernst & Young, and her daughter, Meenakshi A., is pursuing her education.
