Dr. Dinesh Arora IAS, CEO, REC Power Distribution Company Ltd was presented with Global HR Excellence Awards ‘CEO WITH HR ORIENTATION’- at World HRD Congress-2016 by Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

Shri Arora is a doctor by study , human resource oriented by nature and technically sound to perfection. Started his Indian bureaucracy career in 2002 , Shri Arora has been Sub Collector- Land Revenue Mgmt & District Administration (2004-06) , Joint Excise Commissioner- Finance Dept (2006-06), Mission Director- National Rural Health Mission (2006-09), Commissioner- Food & Supplies Dept(2008-09), Dist Collector-Kannur (2009-09), Managing Director-Medical Services Corporation Ltd (2009-09),Jt Secretary -Health & Family Welfare Dept (2009-2011), Director-Social Welfare Dept (2011-2011) ,District Collector-Thiruvananthapuram (2011-2011) and Director-Central Plan Monitoring Unit(2011).

About REC: Rural Electrification Corporation Limited (REC), a NAVRATNA Central Public Sector Enterprise under Ministry of Power, was incorporated on July 25, 1969 under the Companies Act 1956. REC a listed Public Sector Enterprise Government of India with a net worth of Rs. 24,857.03 crore as on 31.03.15.
