Indian Bureaucracy News, Delhi, October 28, 2025 | The Delhi Police has transferred 14 IPS officers across major wings, following government approval under order dated 24.10.2025.

Shri Robin Hibu IPS (AGMUT 1993) has been posted as Special CP of Human Resource Division, while Shri Neeraj Thakur IPS (AGMUT 1994) takes charge of the Traffic Division with additional responsibility for Vigilance. Shri Rajesh Khurana IPS (AGMUT 1994) moves to Provisioning & Finance, and Shri Devesh Chandra Srivastva IPS (AGMUT 1995) continues in Crime Division with an added role in Perception Management & Media.

Other changes include postings in the Operations, Intelligence, Vigilance, and Protective Security divisions, along with new assignments in the CP Secretariat.

List of the officers with their existing and new postings is detailed below.

  1. Shri Robin Hibu IPS (AGMUT 1993), presently Special Commissioner of Police (CP), Public Transport Safety Division, Delhi Police, is transferred and appointed as Special CP – Human Resource Division, Delhi Police.
  2. Shri Rajesh Khurana IPS (AGMUT 1994), presently in the rank of Special CP and posted as Managing Director, Delhi Police Housing Corporation Limited (DPHCL), is transferred and appointed as Special CP – Provisioning and Finance Division, Delhi Police.
  3. Shri Neeraj Thakur IPS (AGMUT 1994), presently Special CP, Provisioning & Finance Division, with additional charge of Special CP, Vigilance, Delhi Police, is transferred and appointed as Special CP – Traffic Division, Delhi Police.
  4. Shri Devesh Chandra Srivastva IPS (AGMUT 1995), presently Special CP, Crime, given additional charge of Special CP – Perception Management & Media Cell Division, Delhi Police.
  5. Shri David Lalrinsanga IPS (AGMUT 1995), presently Special CP, Special Police Unit for Women and Children (SPUWAC) and Special Police Unit For North- Eastern Region (SPUNER), is transferred and appointed as Special CP – Operations, PCR and Communication, Delhi Police, with additional charge of Special CP – SPUNER, Delhi Police.
  6. Shri Anil Shukla IPS (AGMUT 1996), presently awaiting posting, is appointed as Special CP – Special Cell, with additional charge of Technology and Police Intelligence (PI) Division, Delhi Police.
  7. Shri Manish Kumar Agarwal IPS (AGMUT 1996), presently Special CP, Technology & PI Division, with additional charge of Operations, PCR & Public Transport Safety Division, Delhi Police, is transferred and appointed as Special CP – Intelligence Division, with additional charge of Public Transport Safety Division, Delhi Police.
  8. Shri Ajay Chaudhry IPS (AGMUT 1996), presently Special CP, Traffic (Zone-II), Delhi Police, is transferred and appointed as Special CP – Vigilance Division, with additional charge of SPUWAC, Delhi Police.
  9. Shri Atul Katiyar IPS (AGMUT 1997), presently Special CP, Welfare Division, is given additional charge of Special CP – Licensing and Legal Division, Delhi Police.
  10. Shri K Jegadesan IPS (AGMUT 1998), presently Special CP, Traffic (Zone-I), is transferred and appointed as Special CP – Protective Security Division, Delhi Police, with additional charge of Managing Director – Delhi Police Housing Corporation Limited (DPHCL).
  11. Shri Vijay Kumar IPS (AGMUT 2007), presently Joint CP, Eastern Range, is transferred and appointed as Joint CP – CP Secretariat-cum-OSD to Commissioner of Police, Delhi.
  12. Shri Rajiv Ranjan Singh IPS (AGMUT 2010), presently OSD to CP Delhi, is transferred and appointed as Additional CP – Eastern Range, Delhi Police.
  13. Shri Rohit Rajbir Singh IPS (AGMUT 2015), presently Additional DCP-I, Dwarka District, Delhi, is transferred and appointed as DCP – CP Secretariat (Crime), Delhi Police.
  14. Shri Vikram K Porwal IPS (AGMUT 2016), presently DCP, Economic Offences Wing (EOW), is transferred and appointed as DCP – CP Secretariat (Administration), Delhi Police.
  15. Additionally Transfer orders of Shri Mahender Nath Tiwari IPS (2004), Smt Aslam Khan IPS (2007), Shri Deepak Purohit IPS (2007), and, Shri Vikram K Porwal IPS (2016) ordered earlier vide GNCTD Order F.No.5/37/2023/HP-II Estt./2755-2763 dated 20.08.2025 has been cancelled in view of operational requirements.
