In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Government of NCT of Delhi has issued orders for the transfer and posting of several senior IAS and DANICS officers. The notification, approved by the Hon’ble Lt. Governor, aims to strengthen governance by allocating key portfolios and bringing in experienced officers to crucial roles. A total of 16 officers from the AGMUT cadre and DANICS service have been given new responsibilities, reflecting the government’s focus on efficiency and sectoral reforms.

Prashant Goyal IAS (AGMUT:1993) presently serving as Financial Commissioner, has been entrusted with additional responsibilities. He will now also hold the additional charges of ACS (Food & Civil Supplies) and CMD (DFC), a crucial role in managing Delhi’s food distribution and civil supplies network.

Sandeep Kumar IAS (AGMUT:1997) Principal Secretary (Vigilance) with additional charges of AR, IT and Environment & Forest, has been posted as Principal Secretary (Vigilance) with additional charge of Principal Secretary (AR), IT and Chairman (DPCC), strengthening oversight in anti-corruption and environmental regulation.

Neeraj Semwal IAS (AGMUT:2003) currently Secretary Revenue-cum-Divisional Commissioner with charge of Land & Building, will now additionally hold the charge of Secretary (Power). This expanded mandate combines land management with oversight of Delhi’s critical power sector.

Shurbir Singh IAS (AGMUT:2004) Secretary (Finance) with additional charges of GAD and Power, has now been appointed as Secretary (Finance) with the added responsibility of Development Commissioner, aligning fiscal planning with development initiatives.

Pandurang K. Pole IAS (AGMUT:2004) Secretary (Higher Education & TTE) with additional charge of UD, has been reassigned as Secretary (Higher Education & TTE) with the additional charge of Secretary (Education), consolidating academic oversight under one portfolio.

Vijay Kumar Bidhuri IAS (AGMUT:2005) who was awaiting posting, has been appointed Secretary (Urban Development) with the additional charge of Secretary (Environment & Forests). This places him at the centre of Delhi’s urban planning and environmental sustainability agenda.

Ashok Kumar IAS (AGMUT:2006) Secretary (Education), has been posted as Secretary (GAD), a key administrative coordination role.

Shilpa Shinde IAS (AGMUT:2006) Development Commissioner with additional charges of Labour and Cooperation, has been posted as Secretary-cum-Commissioner (Labour) with the additional charge of Secretary (Cooperation), continuing her focus on labour and cooperative affairs.

Sandeep Kumar Singh IAS (AGMUT:2011) Special Secretary to Chief Minister, will now also hold the additional charge of Special Secretary (Finance), enhancing his involvement in fiscal management.

Ravi Jha IAS (AGMUT:2011) Commissioner (Excise), will additionally handle the responsibilities of Special Secretary (PWD), integrating excise and infrastructure-linked functions.

Jitendra Kumar Jain IAS (AGMUT:2013) Special Director (Employment), will continue in the same post while also taking on the additional charge of Special Commissioner (Food Safety), reflecting the importance of employment and food security.

Dr. Kinny Singh IAS (AGMUT:2014) Special Secretary (Health & Family Welfare), Project Director (DSACS) and Secretary (PGC), has been appointed Member (Administration) Delhi Jal Board, bringing her health-sector expertise into water management.

Sanjeev Kumar IAS (AGMUT:2014) Special Secretary (AR) with charge of SC/ST/OBC/Minorities, will now serve as Special Secretary (Health & Family Welfare).

Ravi Dadhich IAS (AGMUT:2014) Special Secretary (Power) with charge of MD (IPGCL) and MD (PPCL), will additionally hold the charge of Special Secretary (IT), expanding his portfolio to technology governance.

Yash Chaudhary IAS (AGMUT:2017) Director (Social Welfare), will now also hold the charge of Special Secretary (SC/ST/OBC/Minorities), integrating welfare delivery with social justice responsibilities.

Praveer Kumar Singh DANICS (2014) Superintendent (Prisons), has been posted as Executive Director (DSIIDC), taking on a role in industrial development and infrastructure.

This reshuffle highlights Delhi Government’s strategy of placing seasoned administrators in multi-dimensional roles to ensure better governance outcomes across finance, power, education, health, urban development, and welfare.
