Mr. Deepak Kumar, IAS (BH:1984), is the new Director General (DG), Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC). He replaces Mr. Anil Kumar Agarwal, IAS (WB:1981). Mr. Heera Lal Samariya, IAS (TG:1985), will take charge as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Labour and Employment in place of Mr. Deepak Kumar. Mr. Samariya was promoted from the post of Joint Secretary, Department of Fertilizers, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers.
