Karmayogi Bharat, in collaboration with Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has introduced 12 courses designed to address competency gaps and cater to the needs and aspirations of officials. These courses aim to facilitate a shift from rule-based to role-based training. The launch event was attended by Smt Rashmi Shukla, DG-SSB, Shri Mritunjay Kumar Narayan, Additional Secretary, MHA, and Shri Abhishek Singh, CEO of Karmayogi Bharat, on the iGOT Karmayogi platform.
The SSB Capacity Building unit, under the leadership of Shri Paresh Saxena (IG, Training), developed these courses, which are available in both English and Hindi. The courses cover a range of topics, including pre-hospital protocols in case of cardiac arrest, cardio-respiratory endurance training, circuit training, lower backache prevention, wound management, operating software installation, EPABX system, earthing system, basics of computer course for new entrants, and domain competencies for Central Armed Police Forces.
iGOT Karmayogi is a comprehensive online platform managed by Karmayogi Bharat-DoPT, aimed at guiding government officials in their capacity-building journey. The portal integrates six functional hubs for online learning, competency management, career management, discussions, events, and networking. Currently, over 24 lakh learners from various government departments are registered on the iGOT Platform, providing access to more than 740 courses. The platform plays a vital role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of government officials across different domains.
