Today, workplace safety is beyond compliance and is about creating a productive, efficient, happy and inspiring workplace and proactive attitude to learn from indicators of unsafe conditions. The concept of the safety in the present era is also getting digitized making Safety foolproof with use of Technology. However, many Indian industries are still in the process of recognizing the advantages of Safe Work Environment and its impact on productivity and morale of the people. To build this momentum within the Indian Industry, CII IQ has been organizing exclusive competitions and conferences on Workplace safety for the last two years as part of its learning and sharing agenda.
A one day conference on “Excellence in Workplace Safety”, followed by an Industry visit on 24-25 April 2019 has been organised at Pune for creating a platform for the Indian Industry to share , learn and adopt the safety practices and culture.
