NHPC, India’s premier hydro power company is celebrating ‘Swachhta Pakhwada 2018’ from 16th May 2018 to 31st May 2018 as per guidelines issued by the Government of India. Under this programme a special ‘Laghu Natika’ on Cleanliness Awareness was presented by members of Maithili Lok Rang troupe at NHPC Corporate Office, Faridabad on 30th May 2018. Shri Balraj Joshi, Chairman and Managing Director, NHPC, Shri N.K. Jain, Director (Personnel), NHPC and Shri M.K. Mittal, Director (Finance), NHPC were also present on the occasion. Addressing to the gathering Shri Joshi highlighted the importance of cleanliness and said that cleanliness is a very important part of development.
During this Pakhwada, NHPC has organized various activities related to cleanliness awareness as tree plantation/ sapling plantation, skit presentation, yoga programme, cleaning kit distribution, special rally for awareness on hygiene, drawing / painting competition etc. in the nearby areas of its Corporate Office and across all its Regional Offices/ Power Stations/ Projects and locations.
