This day holds immense significance as it recognizes the dedication, discipline, and professionalism of security guards and supervisors—the unsung heroes who form the backbone of India’s safety infrastructure. To make this occasion meaningful, CAPSI encouraged its member organizations and corporate partners to participate actively in the celebrations.
The festivities, which spanned multiple states including Delhi, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Telangana, Gujarat, Mizoram, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Meghalaya, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Haryana, and Jammu & Kashmir, highlighted the nationwide importance of the event. Activities included parades, award ceremonies honoring outstanding security guards, and events showcasing the invaluable contributions of these professionals. These initiatives aim to foster a sense of pride, belonging, and recognition among the 10 million security professionals in India, underscoring their crucial role in safeguarding the nation.
